Within the framework of 2018 Public Investment Budget, the Mayor of Buea Council, Contracting Authority, hereby launches an Open National Invitation to tender for: The Construction of a block of Two (2) classrooms at G.B.P.S. MUEA - BUEA

The works comprise the output of the preliminary studies, foundation works, face works, electricity, painting, landscape protection etc.

The estimated cost after preliminary studies is Twenty Million (20 000 000) FCFA, all taxes inclusive.

The work is in a ONE (1) Lot as follows:

Construction of a block of Two (2) classrooms at G.B.P.S. MUEA-BUEA

Participation is open to duly legalized Cameroonian enterprises or companies that fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.

Works which form the subject of this invitation to tender, shah be financed by the Public Investment Budget of 2018 financial year, budget head Number:

Council as soon as this notice is published against a payment of a non refundable sum of Thirty-five thousand (35.000) FCFA payable at the Buea Council Treasury.

Each bidder must include in his/her administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first­rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry in charge of Finance and whosc list is found in document No. 11 of the tender file, of an amount of Four hundred Thousand (400,000) Francs CFA and valid for Ninety (90) days beyond the date of validity of bids

The bids shall be opened in a single (01) phase on  10 MAI 2018  at 11 a.m. local time bythe Buea Council Tenders Board in the Buea Council Chambers (R106  ).

Only bidders may attend or be duly represented by a person with a written authorization and with a sound knowledge of the tender file.

Essential criteria

The criteria relating to the qualification of candidates could indicatively bc on thc following:

- General Presentation

-   Turnover (minimum 15 million as specified on the business license):

-   Access to a credit or other financial resources (at least 10 million):

-   Contractor's references in similar works

-   Availability of material and essential equipment - Experience of supervisory staff

-   Work Planning / Methodology of work

The non-respect of X number of criteria (X being above or equal elimination of the bid.

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder with the least evaluated financial offer having thc technical and administrative files which are in conformity with the tender document/file

Bidders will remain committed to their bids for Ninety (90) days from the deadlinc set for the submission of tenders.
