The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Open National Invitation to Tender No.008/ONIT/TB/UB/18 of 10/04/18 for the Supply and Installation of Furniture at Classroom Block III of the University of Buea.

The services of this Jobbing Order comprise fabrication/purchasing, transportation, installation and reception of fumiture at Classroom Block III, at the University of Buea.

The estimated cost alter preliminary studies is 15,000,000 (fifteen million) FCFA including taxes.

The supply is not in lots

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroon based qualified registered enterprises that must have proven expertise in the domain of supply of equipment.

Supplies which form the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the Investment Budget of the University of Buea, 2018 financial year, Programme 242, Article 731940, Paragraph 2813.

Tender documents can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O.Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published.

The file may be obtained from the Development Office Secretariat, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published upon presentation of a receipt of payment of a non-refundable sum of 30,000 (thirty thousand) CFA francs, payable at special ARMP account No.33598842001-44 at BICEC.

The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner or Delegated Contracting Authority for the delivery of this supply is four (04) months.

Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first-rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry of Finance of an amount of 300,000 (thrce hundred thousand) CFA francs and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids. See Document 12 of Tender file.

Subject to being rejected, documents in the administrative file must include only originals or true copies certified by the issuing service or competent administrative authorities in accordance with the Special Regulations of the invitation to tender. These documents must be less than three (3) months old or be established after the signing of the tender notice.

Any bid which is not in conformity with the prescriptions of the Tender File shah be declared inadmissible. Especially the absence of a bid bond issued by a first-rate bank approved by the Minister in charge of Finance or the non- respect of the models of the tender file documents shah lead to a pure and simple rejection of the bid.

The bids shah be opened in a single phase. The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids will be on 16/05/2018 at 1:00 p.m local time by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building, in the presence of the contractor or a duly mandated représentative.

Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.

• Absence of a bid bond and/or Attestation for Bidding Purposes
• False declaration or falsified documents;
• Obtaining a technical score of less than 18 yeses out of 26 possible yeses; Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer;
•  Non-conformity with technical specifications
• Average annual business turnover of less than 10,000,000 (ten million) FCFA for the past three
  years supported by business licenses for 2016 and certificates of non-indebtedness for 2017 and 2018.
