The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has obtained financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of the Livestock and Fisheries Development Project (LIFIDEP), in the North West Region of Cameroon, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for various consultant services. These services include individual consultants for the following.

Lot1: Training Programs Related to Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures /Technical Barriers to

Lot 2: Final Evaluation of the Livestock and Fisheries Development Project (LIFIDEP)

FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS FOR  TRAINING  PROGRAMS RELATED TO SANITARY AND PHYTOSANITARY MEASURES /TECHNICAL BARRIERS TO TRADE (SPS/TBT), AND FINAL EVALUATION FOR THE LIVESTOCK AND FISHERIES DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (LIFIDEP) FOR THE NORTH WEST REGION OF CAMEROON

Each study and/or training program  will cover all of the North West Region of the Republic of Cameroon, made up of seven (7) Administrative Divisions and covering an  estimated area of 17 812 km² (about 1.8 million ha).

The Project Coordinator now invites eligible Local Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested individual consultants who have experience in the fields for which they are requesting for pre qualification,  must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (detailed curriculum vitae indicating their qualifications and Experience in similar field and conditions)

The consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009).

Expressions of interest must be sealed and delivered in quadruplet, one (1) original and three (3) copies marked as such, addressed to the  Project Coordinator , Livestock and Fisheries Development Project , PMU  Building Ayaba street, PO Box 142, Bamenda, Cameroon .

The Expressions of Interest should be Deposited in the Secretariat of the Project Coordinator on or before 30/7/2018 at 12 midday local time (GMT+1) and should carry the inscription:

“Request for Expression of Interest for individual Consultants for the Livestock and Fisheries Development Project (LIFIDEP) for the North West Region.  Lot N^O………for……….. "

Each individual consultant should state which lot(s) (s)he is seeking prequalification. A consultant can express interest in both lots, in which case (s)he will provide the information requested in 4 above for each lot and in a separate document.

This request for Expression of Interest is issued after the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the UN Development Business dated 7^th January 2014, the IDB website dated 7^th January 2014 and Cameroon Tribune dated 10^th January 2014.
