The Government of Cameroon and SOWEDA have signed a three-year contract for the restructuring of SOWEDA. Within the framework of implementing the activities related to Year 1 (2016) of the contract the General Manager of SOWEDA hereby launches an open National Invitation to Tender for the supply of materials and equipment under the Technical Restructuring Axis of the `Çontrat Plan'.
The services related to this contract shall comprise the supply of 01 (One) Single Cabin Pickup Vehicle 4x4 and 03 (Three) Motorcycles to SOWEDA.
The estimated cost of this tender is as follows:
- Lot 1: FCFA 25,000,000 (Twenty five million francs).
- Lot 2: FCFA 9,000,000 (Nine million francs)
The supplies that are subject of this tender shall be in two lots as follows:
- Lot 1: 01 (One) Single Cabin Pickup Vehicle 4x4
- Lot 2: 03 (Three) Motorcycles
Participation in this invitation to tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian based enterprises that are licensed in the supply of vehicles/motorcycles and which fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.
The supplies which are subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the `Çontrat Plan Etat/SOWEDA 2016-2018' Budget: Line MINADER 2016.
Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of SOWEDA, Buea (Department of General Affairs) during working hours (7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.).
The tender file may be obtained from the same address above, as soon as this notice is published against payment of a non-refundable fee of FCFA 40,000 (Forty thousand francs) into the CAS-ARMP Account N° 335 988 in any BICEC Bank Branch.

The services related to this contract shall comprise the supply of 01 (One) Single Cabin Pickup Vehicle 4x4 and 03 (Three) Motorcycles to SOWEDA.
Each bidder must include in their administrative documents a bid bond issued by a first rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry in charge of finance and whose list is found in document No. 12 of the Tender File and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids amounting as follows:
- Lot 1: FCFA 500,000 (Five hundred thousand francs).
- Lot 2: FCFA 180,000 (One hundred and eighty thousand francs)

The bids shah be opened in a single phase on 13/07/2016 at 11 a.m. local time in the SOWEDA Conference Hall by the SOWEDA Internai Tenders Board. Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.

- Absence of an administrative document
- False declaration or falsified document
- Non-compliance with more than 30% of the technical specifications of the vehicle
- Absence of quantified unit price
- Non-compliance with model tender
- Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer
- Absence of agreement or authorization from the automobile manufacturer

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose administrative bid shall be up-to-date, technical bid judged satisfactory and who shall be the least bidder.
Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of 90 (ninety) days with effect from the date of opening of bids.
