Within the framework of the Public Investment Budget 2019, The Mayor of Mundemba Council, Contracting Authority, hereby launches an OPEN NATIONAL INVITATATION TO TENDER for the FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BLOCK OF TWO CLASSROOMS AT GNS MEKA NGOLO, NDIAN DIVISION

The works comprise the output of the preliminary studies carried out and the detailed information provided in the technical specifications and the quantitative estimates.

The preliminary works to be done is estimated at the cost of 23,000,000 (Twenty three million) FCFA

The tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian enterprises that fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender

The works which form the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by Public Investment Budget of the 2019 financial year; Budget Head No. 53 15 196 02 641936 2222 821

The complete tender file may be obtained from the General Secretariat of MUNDEMBA COUNCIL upon presentation of a treasury receipt attesting to the payment of a non refundable sum of 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) FCFA. at the Mundemba Council treasury: Tel 670 608 545/677 420 995/677 146 346.

The maximum period provided for the execution of the works is fixed at (03) three months.

Each bidder must include in his/her administrative documents a bid bond issued by a first rate bank approved by the Ministry in charge of finance and recognized by COBAC (Commission Bancaire pour l'Afrique Centrale) featuring on the list in Document 10 of the tender file of an amount of Four Hundred and Sixty Thousand (460, 000) FCFA with a validity period of thirty (30) days from the date the bids are opened.

Under penalty of rejection, the required administrative documents must be imperatively produced as original documents or photocopies certified as authentic by the issuing authority, in accordance with the Special Regulations of the Invitation to Tender, within the Iast three months, otherwise they shah not be accepted.

Any bid not in compliance with the specifications of this tender notice and file shah be declared inadmissible. Notably, the absence of the bid bond issued by a first rate bank approved by the Ministry in charge of finance or its non-compliance with the model documents of the tender file shah lead to outright rejection of the bid without any possibility of appeal.

Each bid drafted in English or French in Seven(07) copies including the original and Six (06) copies marked as such, should reach the General Secretariat of Mundemba Council not later than 09/07/2019 at 10:00 a.m local time and labeled.

The bids shah be opened in single (01) phase on 09/07/2019 at 11:00A.M local time by the Tender Board of the Contracting authority in the MUNDEMBA COUNCIL CONFERENCE HALL, in the presence of the bidders or duly authorized representatives having full knowledge of the file (power of attorney).

13. MAIN QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of 90 (ninety) days with effect from the date of opening of bids.
