The Government of Cameroon has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Grassfield Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include recruitment of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of GP-IRDP.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) through the Project
Management Unit (PMU) of Grassfield Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), now invites interested candidates to express their
candidature for the Post in providing the services. Interested candidates must provide specific information which demonstrate that they are fully qualified to perform the services (letters of motivation for the position should be addressed to the Project Coordinator, detailed curriculum vitae duly signed, certified copies of certificates and work attestations and a certificate of non-conviction not more than 3 months old).
The services include recruitment of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of GP-IRDP
The candidate for the position shall possess the following minimum qualification
and experience required for the job:
a) Minimum Academic Qualification and Experience:
• Be a holder of at least a B.Sc. in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics or any other related field with at least ten (10) years professional experience;
Possession of relevant post graduate degree is an added advantage • At least five (5) years' work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects funded by GOC, IsDB and or other donors/funding bodies; Knowledge of Donors' rules and procedures especially AfDB and IsDB and experience in Projects funded by Multilateral or Bilateral Donors, are added advantage.
b) Competencies:
• Demonstrated expertise in developing indicators, training people in data collection techniques, and developing database systems to collect M&E data
• Be able to work in a multidisciplinary team and under pressure
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and working knowledge of French
•Show proof of working ability to conduct studies and surveys.
•Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis
•Excellent organizational skills for maintaining activity deadlines with stakeholders
• Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders.
• Expertise in application and use of database systems.
• Good analytic and numerical skills.
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Strong sense of diligence.
• Knowledge of the project area and ability to speak the lingua franca (Pidgin) and at least one local language among the North West Region are added advantages

d) Knowledge:
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office applications, including word, excel, powerpoint, Tom2Monitoring, access etc.
