The Government of Cameroon and SOWEDA have signed a three-year contract for the restructuring of SOWEDA. Within the framework of implementing the activities related te Year 1 (2016) of the contract the General Manager of SOWEDA hereby launches an open National Invitation to Tender for the supply of materials and equipment under the Technical Restructuring Axis of the 'Contrat Plan'.

The services related to this contract shall be the supply of a 01 (One) front end loader to SOWEDA as per the terms and specifications of this tender document.

The estimated cost of this tender is FCFA 165,000,000 (One hundred and sixty live million francs) taxes inclusive.

The supplies that are subject of this tender shall be in 01 (one) Lot.

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian based enterprises that are licensed in the supply of heavy-duty equipment and which fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.

The supplies which are subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the `Çontrat Plan Etat/SOWEDA 2016-2018' Budget: Line MINFI/Chapitre 93/2016

Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of' SOWEDA, Buea (Department of General Affairs) during working hours (7.30 am. to 3.30 p.m.).

The tender file may be obtained from the sanie address above, as soon as this notice is published against payment of a non-refundable fee of 120,000 (One hundred and twenty thousand) francs CFA, into the CAS-ARMP Account N° 335 988 in any BICEC Bank Branch.

The maximum deadiine provided for the delivery of the equipment subject of this tender is fixed at 03 (Three) months.

Subject w being rejected, documents in the administrative file must include only originals or truc copies certified by the issuing service or competent administrative authorities in accordance with the Special Regulations of the invitation to tender. These documents must be less than three (3) months old or established alter the signing of the tender notice. Any bid not in conformity with the prescriptions of the Tender File shah be declared inadmissible. Especially the absence of a bid bond issued by a first-rate bank approved by the Minister in charge of Finance or the non-respect of the models of the tender file documents shah lead to a pure and simple rejection of the bid.

The bids shah be opened in a single phase on 23/11/2016 at 11 a.m. local time in the SOWEDA Conference Hall by the SOWEDA Internai Tenders Board. Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose administrative bid shall be up-to-date, technical bid judged satisfactory and who shall be the least bidder.

Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of 90 (ninety) days with effect from the date of opening of bids
