1.Objet New(Additif)

Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Limited (CNIC) has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of Project of Construction of Infrastructure for the Repair of Oil Rigs Platforms at Limbe and intends to use part of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract   for the procurement of equipment for workshops (design, supply, and installation).

2.Consistance des prestations New(Additif)

The General Manager of Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Limited, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, for the supply of workshop equipment and related services for the three (3) lots below:

  • LOT 1:  Overhead cranes and mobile jib crane
  • LOT 2: Mobile crane
  • LOT 3: Forklift

A tenderer can tender for one or for all the lots.

3.Participation et origine New(Additif)

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank's Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works (May 2008 Edition, Revised July 2012), and, specifically, through “Single Stage” Bidding Procedures.

4.Acquisition du Dossier New(Additif)

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained from Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Limited (Execution Unit of the Limbe Shipyard project) at the above address, upon publication of this notice, against the presentation of a receipt of the payment of  a non-refundable fee of 125 000 FCFA (one hundred and twenty five thousand francs CFA francs), in the special account CAS-ARMP No. 335 988 60001-94 opened in the agencies of the BICEC in Cameroon and representing the acquisition costs of the file. 
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document:  Procurement of Plant (Design, Supply, and Installation) of September 2010, revised February 2018.
A site visit conducted by the Employer followed by a Pre-Bid meeting shall be organized at Limbe on May 19, 2020 at 10 am, local time.

5.Cautionnement Provisoire New(Additif)

Bids must be delivered to the above address on or before 12 noon prompt (local time) on June16, 2020 and must be accompanied by a bid security of :

  • Lot 1: 12 000 000 FCFA or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency;
  • Lot 2: 35 500 000  FCFA or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
  • Lot 3: 2 000 000  FCFA or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.

9. BIDs shall remain valid for 120 days after the deadline for Bid submission prescribed above.
10. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 1:00 p.m. prompt, Local time on June 16, 2020, at the offices (meeting room) of:
