Within the framework of the realisation of his action plan for the current year, the General Manager of Aéroports Du Cameroun S.A, contracting authority, hereby launches an open national call for tenders for the rehabilitation of the second exit lane of the open air car park of the Yaounde-Nsimalen International Airport
- Works shall consist in:
- Removal of the of the car park sentry box canopy;
- Removal of type T2 and CS2 edges;
- Removal of safety grid ;
- Partial demolition of the existing gutter;
- Free cut of the carriageway ;
- Earthworks (ordinary excavations) ;
- Placing of the foundation layer in lateritic gravel of 30 cm thick ;
- Placing of the base layer 0/31.5 crushed gravel of 15 cm thick ;
- Placing of the asphalt prime coat in 400/600 modified sandy bitumen;
- Placing of the tack coating in 400/600 modified sandy bitumen;
- Placing of the roughing coat in 0/14 bituminous concrete of 5 cm thick ;
- Construction of a retaining wall in reinforced concrete dosed at 450 kg/m3 ;
- Installation of type T2 and CS2 existing edges;
- Installation of existing safety grid;
- Supply and installation of a water drain pipe in PVC of Ø150mm, L : 1000mm.
The estimated cost fixed after preliminarily studies is approximately forty millions (40,000,000) CFA Francs TI.

For a better appreciation of work to be executed, a guide tour shall be organized for bidders on 22/12/2016, as from11am; the meeting, point shall be the secretariat of the Airport Director.

To be opened only during the tender opening session”.
The Contracting Authority would like the work to be executed within two (02) months. However, the final execution deadline shall be that proposed by the successful bidder.
Each bidder shall attach to his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first rate banking institution, approved by the Ministry in charge of Finance, of an amount of eight hundred thousand (800,000) CFA Francs and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the bid validity deadline, that is ninety (90) days.
Under pain of rejection, other required administrative documents must be produced in original copies or in copies certified true by the issuing service or an administrative authority, in conformity with the provisions of the Special Regulations of the Call for Tenders.
They must be dated less than three (03) months old preceding the original submission date or they must have been issued before the date of signature of the tender notice.
Any incomplete tender not complying with the specifications of the Tender File shall be declared inadmissible, especially, the absence of the bid bond issued by a first rate banking institution approved by the Ministry in charge of Finance.
The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids shall take place on 09/01/2017 at 12:00 am, by the Internal Tenders Board of Aéroports Du Cameroun S.A., in the Board Office located at the Yaounde-Nsimalen Passenger Terminal.
Only bidders may take part in this session or they may be represented by a duly mandated person of their choice with a sound knowledge of their file.

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder who has submitted the lowest financial bid and with the required administrative and technical capacities.
Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of sixty (60) days, with effect from the deadline determined for the submission of bids.
