Within the framework of the realisation of the Aéroports Du Cameroun S.A’s development investment programme for the 2016 financial year, the General Manager, Contracting Authority, hereby launches an open national call for tenders for the supply and installation of three (03) automatic sliding doors in the international arrivals’ baggage delivery area of the Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport passenger terminal.
This operation shall consist in removing a set of four existing doors in the baggage delivery area communicating with the public hall. This set shall be replaced by three doors sliding automatically as well as their commissioning.
Works in this call for tenders shall include:
- Marking of work area;
- Removal of existing door wings in aluminium/glass as well as their accessories;
- Transfer of dismantled door wings to ADC SA warehouse for storage;
- Installation of automatic sliding doors’ power cable;
- Supply, installation and connection of electric cables serving the sliding doors;
- Installation of new automatic sliding doors;
- Installation of new machines and controls of new automatic sliding doors;
- Connection of new automatic sliding doors to electrical circuit;
- Level III training (diagnosis, release, reprogramming, repair, assembly of parts, tests and commissioning) of three technicians;
- Tests and commissioning.

The estimated cost fixed after preliminarily studies is approximately forty millions (40,000,000) CFA Francs TI.

Participation in this call for tenders is open, on equal conditions, to companies qualified in the electrical, mechanical, electromechanical and technical design fields, with an approval of sliding door manufacturer, installed in the Republic of Cameroon, and specialized in electrical work and structure building.
The services, under this call for tenders, shall be financed by the budget of Aéroports Du Cameroun S.A, 2016 financial year, budget line: 23800201.

The maximum deadline determined by the Contracting Authority for the provision of services under this Call for Tenders shall be four (04) months.
However, the final execution deadline shall be that proposed by the successful bidder.
Each bidder shall attach to his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first rate banking institution, approved by the Ministry in charge of Finance, of an amount of eight hundred thousand (800,000) CFA Francs and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the bid validity deadline, that is ninety (90) days.
Under pain of rejection, other required administrative documents must be produced in original copies or in copies certified true by the issuing service or an administrative authority, in conformity with the provisions of the Special Regulations of the Call for Tenders.
They must be dated less than three (03) months old preceding the original submission date or they must have been issued before the date of signature of the tender notice.
Any incomplete tender not complying with the specifications of the Tender File shall be declared inadmissible, especially, the absence of the bid bond issued by a first rate banking institution approved by the Ministry in charge of Finance.
The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids shall take place on 09/01/2017 at 12:00am, by the Internal Tenders Board of Aéroports Du Cameroun S.A., in the Board Office located at the Yaoundé-Nsimalen Passenger Terminal.
Only bidders may take part in this session or they may be represented by a duly mandated person of their choice with a sound knowledge of their file.
14.1 Eliminatory criteria
- Incomplete administrative file (confer RPAO, Envelope A, Page 32);
- Incomplete Financial file (confer RPAO, Envelope C, Page 33);
- Absence of manufacturer’s approval;
- A number of ‘YES’ less than fourteen (14) for all essential criteria;
- Absence of the certificate of site visit;
- Production of a falsified document or false declaration.

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder who has submitted the lowest financial bid and with the required administrative and technical capacities.
Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of sixty (60) days, with effect from the deadline determined for the submission of bids.
