The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Urgent Open National Invitation to Tender No.007/ONIT/TB/UB/20 of 21/08/20 for the Supply of Books to the University of Buea Library.

The services of this contract comprise purchasing, transportation, delivery and reception of the books at the University of Buea main campus Library.

The est imated cost after preliminary studies is 10,000,000 (ten million) FCFA excluding VAT.

The supply is not in lots

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroon based qualified registered enterprises who must have proven expertise in the domain of supply of information resources

Supplies which foret the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the budget of the University of Buea, 2020 financial year, Programme 244, Article 244026 and Paragraph 610040.

Tender documents can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O.Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published.

Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published upon presentation of a receipt of payment of the sum of 25,000 (Twenty-five thousand) CFA francs, payable at special ARMP account No.97568660001-28 at BICEC.

Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (7) copies including the original and six (6) copies marked as such, should reach the Development Office of the University of Buea, in Room 211 of the Central Administration Building not later than 12.00 midday. on 15/09/2020. The bids should be addressed to The Vice-Chancellor, University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea. The khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner:

The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner or Delegated Contracting Authority for the delivery of this project is five (05) months.

Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (7) copies including the original and six (6) copies marked as such, should reach the Development Office of the University of Buea, in Room 211 of the Central Administration Building not later than 12.00 midday. on 15/09/2020. The bids should be addressed to The Vice-Chancellor, University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea. The khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner:

The bids shall be opened in a single phase. The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids will be on 15/09/2020 at 1:00 pan local tinte by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building.

Only bidders rnay attend or be represented by a duly mandate(' person.

1. Obtaining a technical score of less than 09 yeses out of 13 possible yeses;
2. Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the publisher;
3. Nonconformity with technical specifications

14.2           Essential criteria

Technical bids shall be evalmed on the bases of essentiel criteria outlined below.
