The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Urgent Open National Invitation to Tender N°: 012/ONIT/TB/UB/20 of 07/10/2020 for the Rehabilitation and Extension of Security Posts at the University of Buea.
The works comprise die construction of a toilet block at the main entrante of the University and renovation works at the security posts of the Central Administration Building.
The estimated cost alter preliminary studies is 9,375,000 (nine million three hundred and seventy-five thousand) francs CFA including taxes
The work is not in lots.
This call for tenders is open to all qualified national companies specialised in the domain of building construction.
This project is financed by the 2020 CAS COVID-19 Budget
The tender file can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building at the University of Buea, as soon as the tender is published.
Tender documents can be obtained during working hours at the Secretariat of the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building, upon presentation of a receipt of a non-refundable fee of 15,000 (fiftee thousand) francs CFA paid into the special ARMP account No. 97568660001-28 at BICEC,
Bids shah be subinitted in seven (07) copies (one original and six copies) to the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building, University of Buea, latest 12:00 midday prompt on 30/10/2020. The Khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner:

The maximum deadline provided for by the Contracting Authority for the execution of this project shah be three (3) months.
Each bidder must include in bis Administrative Documents a bid bond of 188,000 (one hundred and eightyeight thousand) CFA francs. This must be issued by a bank recognized by the Ministry of Finance, as specified on Document 12 of this tender file and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids.
Bids shah be subinitted in seven (07) copies (one original and six copies) to the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building, University of Buea, latest 12:00 midday prompt on 30/10/2020. Bids shah be opened in a single phase in the Conference Room of the Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, on 30/10/2020 at 11.00 am by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the presence of the bidders or their duly authorised representatives.

Only bids that obtain a technical score of 25 on 35 shah be submitted for financial analysis. NB: Each item may score more than one Yes/No (see Technical Evaluation of Bids).
The contract shah be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid fulfilling the technical and financial conditions
Bidders shah be bound by their bids for a period of ninety (90) days with effect from the tender submission deadline
