Within the framework of the Public Investment Budget 2021, The Lord Mayor of Muyuka Council, Contracting Authority, hereby launches an Open National Invitation to tender FOR THE EXTENSION OF THREE (03) PHASE RURAL ELECTRICITY FROM EKONA MBENGE TO MUNDAME VILLAGE
The works comprise the output of the preliminary studies carried out and the detailed information provided in the technical specifications and the quanteive estimates.
The tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian enterprises that fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.
The works which form the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by Council Investment Budget of the 2021 financial year; Budget Head
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information during working hours as from the date of publication of this tender notice, at the General Secretariat of The Muyuka Council.
The complete tender file may be obtained from the General Secretariat of the Muyuka Council upon presentation of a treasury receipt attesting to the payment of a non-refundable sum of Fifty thousand (50 000) Francs CFA, at the Council Treasury.
Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (07) copies including the original and six (06) copies marked as such, should reach the General Secretariat of the Muyuka Council internai Tender's Board not later than 04/05/2021 at 11:00 AM local time and labeled.

The maximum period provided for the execution of the works is fixed at (03) three months. MAIN ELIMINATORY CRITERIA:
Each bidder must include in his/her administrative documents a bid bond issued by a first rate bank approved by the Ministry in charge of finance and recognized by COBAC
(Commission Bancaire pour l'Afrique Centrale) featuring on the list in Document 10 of the tender file of an amount of one million (1,000,000) Francs CFA with a validity period of thirty (30) days from the date the bids are opened.
Under penalty of rejection, the required administrative documents must be imperatively produced as original documents or photocopies certified as authentic by the issuing authority, in accordance with the Special Regulations of the Invitation to Tender, within the last three months, otherwise they shall not be accepted.
Any bid not in compliance with the specifications of this tender notice and file shall be declared inadmissible. Notably, the absence of the bid bond issued by a first rate bank approved by the Ministry in charge of finance or its non-compliance with the .;dei documents of the tender file shall lead to outright rejection of the bid without any possibility of appeal.

The bids shall be opened in single (01) phase on 31/05/2021 at 12:00 Noon local time by the Tender Board of the Contracting authority in the Conference Hall of the Muyuka Couneil, in the presence of the bidders or duly authorized representatives having full knowledge of the file (power of attorney).
The maximum period provided for the execution of the works is fixed at (03) three months.
- 9. MAIN ELIMINATORY CRITERIA: Bid shall be rejected when:

v They do not conform to the Tender documents.
v Antecedents of non-execution of contract or pending disputes

The non-respect of 2 criteria shall cause the elimination of the bid.
Bidders shah be bound by their bids for a period of 90 (ninety) days with effect from the date of opening of bids.
