Within the framework of the execution of the 2022 Public investment Budget. the Mayor of the Buea Council launches an open national invitation to tender by emergency procedure for the Construction of the Sasse water Catchment Phase

This involves the realization of the tasks outlined in the bills of quantities and cost estimates and elaborated in the special technical clauses ccmprising notably:

• WORK MOBILIZATION;
• CONSTRUCTION OF CATCHMENT;
• CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE TANK;
• TREATMENT OF WATER
• PIPELINE WORKS;
• STAND TAPS WORKS;

The estimated cost after preliminary studies stand at Eighty-Seven Million two hundred and forty-eight thousand two hundred and eighty (87,248,280) FCFA all taxes inclusive.

Participation is opened under the same conditions to all Cameroonian Companies and business concerns that have proven experiences in the field of building construction and hydraulics/rural engineering in general and who are not in a period of suspension by the authority in charge of public contracts.

Works which formed the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the PUBLIC INVESTMENT BUDGET

The file may be obtained from the office of the Private Secretary to the Mayor of Buea Council as soon as this notice is published against a payment of a non refundable sum of Ninety one thousand (91.000) FCFA payable at the Buea Council Treasury.

The maximum duration of execution provided for by the Contracting Authority shall be three (03) months, as from the date of notification of the service order to start work.

PHASE I

The bids shall be opened in a single (01) phase on the  06/05/2022   at 9:30 am  localtime by the Tender Board of the Contracting Authority in Buea Council Office, in the presence of the bidders or duly authorized representatives having full knowledge of the file (power of attorney).

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose bid is in conformity with the dispositions of the Tender File and on the basis of the lowest bid and technical quality in accordance with Article 33 of the public contracts code

The bidders shall remain committed to their offers during a period of (ninety} 90 days from the deadline set for the submission of bids.
