The job involves the refurbishment of painting, electricity, .Carpentry, building structure and fixed furniture of Amphitheatre 150 0, Amphitheatre 250 and Amphitheatre 150 D.

This call for tenders is open to all qualified national companies specialised in the domain of building construction.
This project is financed by the Public Investment Budget of the University of Buea. Programme 119 Article 119910 Paragraph 220016
The tender file can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building at the University of Buea, as soon as the tender is published.
Tender documents can be obtained during working hours at the Secretariat of the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building, upon presentation of a receipt of a non-refundable fee of 50,000 (fifty thousand)francs CFA per lot, to be paid into the special ARMP account No. 97568660001-28at BICEC.
Bids shall•be submitted in seven (07) copies (one original and six copies) to the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Adininistration Building, University of Buea, latest 12:00 noon prompt on 24/03/2023. The bids should be addressed to The Vice-Cltancellor, University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea. The khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner,

Bids shall be opened in a single phase in the Conference Room of the Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, on 24/03/2023 at 01.00 p.m by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the presence of the bidders or their duly authorised representatives who should have a perfect mastery of the bids

Essential criteria:
Technical bids shall be evaluated on the basis of essential criteria mentioned below using a binary (Yes/No) scale.
A - Presentation of tender: (Maximum 3 yeses)
B - References of the Enterprise - Previous experience on building /rehabilitation projects (similar in scale
and complexity) executed within the last five (10) years: (Maximum 8 yeses)
C - Proof of availability of relevant equipment to be used for the project: (Maximum 5 yeses)
D -Quality of personnel for this project (presentation of signed, dated Curriculum
Vitae of key personnel: Supervisor and Foremen of trades involved (Maximum 16 yeses)
E - Organization of the staff of the company and Organization of work: (Maximum 2 yeses)
F - Work Programme and Methodology: (Maximum 5 yeses)
G — Familiarity and Knowledge of Buildings to be maintained: (Maximum 2 yeses)
II- Accessibility of the company (Maximum 2 yeses)
I — Financial capacity of 35% of Estimated Cost for each lot (Maximum 2 yeses)

Only bids that obtain a technical score of 32 on 45 yeses shall be submitted for financial analysis.NB: Each item may score more than one Yes/No (see Technical Evaluation of Bids). The contract shall be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid fulfilling the technical and financial conditions
