The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Urgent Open National Invitation to Tender No.04/ONIT/TB/UB/23 of 25/04/23 for the Supply and Installation of Laboratory Equipment to the University of Buea.

The services comprise purchasing, transportation, reception and installation of equipment at the University of Buea Health Unit.

The estimated cost after preliminary studies is 25,000,000 (twenty-five million) FCFA including taxes.

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroon based qualified registered enterprises that must have proven expertise in the domain of supply of equipment.

Supplies which form the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the University of Buea, Section 116, Article 116626, Paragraph 610320, 2023 Financial Year

Tender documents can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published.

Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published upon presentation of a receipt of payment of a non-refundable sum of 30,000 (thirty thousand) CFA francs, payable at special ARMP account No. 97568660001-28 at BICEC.

Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (7) copies including the original and six (6) copies marked as such, should reach the Development Office Secretariat, of the University of Buea, in Room 211 of the Central Administration Building not later than 12.00 midday on 24/05/2023. The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner or Delegated Contracting Authority for the delivery of this supply is four (04) months.

Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first-rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry of Finance of an amount of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) CFA francs and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids. The bids shall be opened in a single phase. The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids will be on 24/05/2023 at 1:00 p.m local time by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building, in the presence of the contractor or a duly mandated representative.

Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.

-        Absence of a bid bond

False declaration or falsified documents;

Obtaining a technical score of less than 20 yeses out of 28 possible yeses;

Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer;
