Within the framework of implementing activities related to 2024 Budget of the Establishment, the Director General of SOWEDA hereby launches an Open National Invitation to Tender for the Supply of a Generator to SOWEDA.
The services related to this contract shall comprise the Tender for the Supply of a Generator to SOWEDA as described in the technical specifications.
The estimated cost of this tender is: FCFA 15,000,000 (Fifteen million).
The supply that is subject of this tender shall be in a single lot.
Participation in this invitation to tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian based enterprises that are licensed in the supply of electrical equipment and which fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.
The supply which is subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the 2024 Running Budget of SOWEDA
Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of SOWEDA, Buea (Department of Administration and Finance) during working hours (7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.).
The tender file may be obtained from the same address above, as soon as this notice is published against payment of the sum of 20,000 (twenty thousand) francs CFA, payable into the CAS-ARMP Account NO 335-988 opened in any BICEC
Bank Branch.

The maximum deadline provided for the delivery of this item that is subject of this tender is fixed at 01 (one) month. The generator shall be delivered at SOWEDA Head Office in Buea.
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents a bid bond issued by a first rate banking/insurance establishment approved by the Ministry in charge of finance and whose list is found in document NO 12 of the Tender Fil and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids amounting to FCFA 300,000 (three hundred thousand francs).

The bids shall be opened in a single phase on 14/02/2024 at 11 a.m. local time in the SOWEDA Conference 1--lall by the SOWEDA Internal Tenders Board. Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.
Criteria 14.1: Eliminatory Criteria
- Absence of a bid bond;
- Absence or non-conformity of an administrative document within 48hours after bids opening;
- False declaration or falsified document;
- Non-compliance with at least 70% of the minor technical specifications;
- Absence of quantified unit price;
- Absence of declaration of non-abandonment of a public contract during the last three years;
- Non-satisfaction of at least 70% (5 yes/7) of the essential criteria;
- Financial capacity below 50% of the tender amount;
- Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer;
- Failure to comply to one of the major technical characteristics criteria below:

The contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose administrative bid shall be up-to-date, technical bid judged satisfactory and who shall be,the least financial bidder
Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of 90 (ninety) days effective from the date of opening of bids
