Within the framework of the executing the 2024 public investment budget allocated to SOWEDA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER), the Director General of the South West Development Authority (SOWEDA) hereby launches an Open National Invitation to Tender for the Construction of 04 (Four) Farm Gate Hangars in Buea, Tiko and Limbe Sub-Divisions, Sub-Division - SW Region - By Emergency Procedure

1— Nature of Works:

The works that are subject of the present tender shall be in 04 (four) Lots as follows:

The various works to be executed are as follows:

  Preparatory works

 General earth works

 Foundation works

Masonry works  Concrete works

 Roofing

  Ceiling work

 Electrification

    Painting

The estimated cost of the works following prior studies stands at FCFA 65,000,000 broken down as follows

This National Invitation to Tender is open to Cameroonian-based enterprises/contractors that have proven their ability and expertise in the execution of such works.

The work which forms the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the 2024 MINADER Public Investment Budget allocated to SOWEDA.

Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of SOWEDA, Buea (Department of Administration and Finance) during working hours (7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.)

The maximum deadline for the execution ofthe works shall be 03 (three) months from the date ofissue of Service Order for the commencement ofworks. Each bidder shall have to include in their tender a standard bid form indicating costs exclusive of all taxes and taxes included and work execution deadlines.

Each bidder shall include in their administrative documents a bid security (in conformity with the model given in the annex) amounting as follows:

The bid security must be issued by a banking or insurance institution approved by the Ministry of Finance (see list in the annex).

Absence of a bid bond document within 48hours-after-bids-opening—

Financial capacity below 50% ofthe amount ofthe project;

Absence of declaration ofnon-abandonment of a public contract during the last three years;

Lack of proof attesting to the previous execution of at least 03 (three) contracts of similar nature during the last 5 years.
