Within the framework of the Public Investment Budget (BIP) for 2024 and Buea Council Investment Budget (BCIB) for 2024, the Mayor of the Buea Council, Contracting Authority, hereby launches an open National Invitation to tender for the REHABILITATION OF SOME ROADS WITHIN THE BUEA MUNICIPLITY

Rehabilitation of road from Tole through Bwiyuku to Wonganjo

The works comprise the following:

 Cleaning,

            Grading and leveling of road platform

            Fill from borrow pit,

            Compaction of road platform

            Concreting of road

 Construction of gutters  Cleaning of structures,

The estimated cost after preliminary studies is as mentioned below all taxes inclusive

Participation is open to duly legalized Cameroonian enterprises or Companies that fulfil the requirements of this invitation to tender

The bids shall be opened in a single (01) phase on the 26/03/2024  at  10... local time by the Tender Board of the Contracting Authority in Buea Council Office, in the presence of the bidders or duly authorized representatives having full knowledge of the file (power of attorney).

Any bid not meeting with the requirements of the Tender File will be declared inadmissible.

1. ELIMINATORY CRITERIA

The eliminatory criteria are identified as follows:

• Non-conformity of an administrative file 48h after the deadline prescribed by the regulation;

 Execution time greater than that prescribed in the Tender that is 3 months

 False statement or Falsified documents in the Tender Files;

 Omission in the financial offer of a quantified unit price

• Presence on MINMAP's list of Enterprises which abandoned the execution of contracts;

 Technical marks less than 70%

 Absence of bid bond or non-conform bid bond during bid opening session;

1. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

The criteria relating to the qualification of candidates could indicatively be the following:

The evaluation of the technical offers will be made according to the binary notation (Yes/No) on the basis of the essential points above in accordance with the RPAO, with a threshold of 70% for all the essential criteria taken into account.

1. The contract shall be awarded to the bidder with the least financial offer having the technical and. administrative files which are in conformity with the tender document/file.

Bidders shall be bound by their bids for a period of ninety (90) days with effect from the date of opening of bids.
