Within the framework of the implementation of its 2024 approved MINADER activities, the Director General of the South West Development Authority (SOWEDA) hereby launches an Open National Invitation to Tender for the Renovation of 03 (three) Buildings at the Seed Multiplication Centre Barombi Kang Kumba (Former Cocoa Coffee Seedlings Centre) - South West Region
- Site installation/Preparatory Works
Works on all elevations including masonry and concreting of the building surroundings
- Wood, Carpentry and Ceiling Works
- Metallic works
Plumbing and Sanitary installation
- Painting
- Masonry Works
The estimated cost of the works following prior studies stands at the sum of FCFA 30,000,000 (thirty million francs).
This National Invitation to Tender is open to Cameroonian-based enterprises/contractors that have proven their ability and expertise in the execution of such works.
The works which forms the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the 2024 MINADER Public Investment Budget allocated to SOWEDA.
Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of SOWEDA, Buea (Department of Administration and Finance) during working hours (7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.) Monday te Friday.
The file may be obtained from the same address above, as soon as this notice is published against payment of a non-refundable fee of 50,000 (fifty thousand) francs CFA, into the CAS-ARMP Account N° 335 988 in any BICEC Bank Branch.

The maximum deadline for the execution of the works shah be 02 (two) rnonths from the date of issue of Service Order for the commencement of works.
Each bidder shall include in their administrative documents a bid security (in conformity with the model given in the annex) amounting FCFA 600,000 (six hundred thousand francs).
The bid security must be issued by a banking or insurance institution approved by the Ministry of Finance (see list in the annex).

The offers shah be opened in a single phase. The administrative, technical and financial bids shall be opened on 09/04/2024 at 11.00 a.m., local time by the SOWEDA Internai Tenders Board in the SOWEDA Conference Hall, in the presence of the bidders or duly authorized representatives having full knowledge of the file (power of attorney).

- Financial capacity below 50% of the amount of the project;
- Absence of declaration of non-abandonment of a public contract during the last three years;

Only bids that would have obtained a score of at least 70% of 'YES' responses in the technical evaluation shall be retained for financial evaluation.
The contract shall be awarded to the bidder with the least financial offer after having qualified administratively and technically.
- Bidders will remain committed to their offers for a period of 90 days from the deadline of submission of tenders.
