Within the framework of executing the 2024 public investment budget allocated to SOWEDA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER), the Director General of the South West Development Authority (SOWEDA) hereby launches an Open National Invitation to Tender for the Supply and Installation of an Automated Weather Information Station at Obang Seed Multiplication Centre (Manyu Division), By Emergency Procedure
The services related to this contract shall comprise the Tender for Supply and Installation of an Automated Weather Information Station as described in the technical specifications given below.

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to duly legalized Cameroonian based enterprises that are experienced in the Supply and Installation of a Weather Station which fulfill the requirements of this invitation to tender.
The supplies which are subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by MINADER 2024 Public Investment Budget; Line: MINADER/PIB/SOWEDA/2024.
Interested bidders can consult the tender file at the Head Office of SOWEDA, Buea (Department of Administration and Finance) during working hours (7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.).
The tender file may be obtained from the saine address above, as soon as this notice is published against payment of the sum of 20,000 (twenty thousand) francs CFA, payable into the CAS-ARMP Account opened in any BICEC Bank B ranch.

The maximum deadline provided for the supply and installation of the weather station and the training of 02 (Two) SOWEDA is fixed for 02 (Two) montlq. The item shall be delivered and installed at the SOWEDA Seed Multiplication Centres in Obang (Manyu Division.
Each bidder shah include in their administrative documents a bid security (in conformity with the model given in the annex) amounting FCFA 300,000 (three hundred thousand francs).
The bid security must be issued by a banking or insurance institution approved by the Ministry of Finance (see list in the annex)

The bids shah be opened in a single phase on 20/06/2024 at 11 a.m. local time in the SOWEDA Conference Hall by the SOWEDA Internai Tenders Board. Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person

- Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical specifications/photos/diagrams from the manufacturer
- Financial capacity below 50% of the amount of the project;
- Absence of declaration of non-abandonment of a public contract during the last three years
