I lord mayor of Mbengwi who doubles as the Contracting Authority hereby cancel the Award Decision for the Rehabilitation of Road from Ngarifum to Samtabeng Junction phase I, Mbengwi Sub Division, MOMO Division  which was originally awarded to  GLACIO INVESTMENT LTD is now awarded to GRETECH ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED who is second on the list. This cancelation is due to the following reasons:

• Since the project was awarded to GLACIO INVESTMENT LTD lowest bidder on the 14/03/2024 the said company has not signed the jobbing order nor show any sign to start the work. He has been called upon many times to come sign the jobbing for a start he has never showed up. This attitude shows he is not ready to do the job.
• Secondly the project we are talking about is a road project which has to do with Rehabilitating earth road and that has to be done before rain fall but we are in the month of May and rain is already falling and in few days from now the road will not be passable. Presently, access to the road is really difficult making movement very difficult for the population.
• If actions like this is not taken the road works will not be a reality and we risk the credit going back as a result the population will continue to suffer.
