The Director General of the South West Development Authority (SOWEDA) hereby launches a Request for the Recruitment of an Engineering Consultancy Firm to Carry out Studies in View of the Design and Construction of Water Supply Schemes
The services that are subject of this request for expression of interest shah involve:
Obtaining a cost-effective design of two (02) water schemes in Ossing village in Manyu Division and Muebah village Kupe Muanengube Division respectively, considering ail elements which bear on the expected life and durability of the water schemes
The services that are subject of this request for expression of interest shah involve:

Participation in this expression of interest is open to ail Cameroonian based
The services which are the subject of the Invitation to Tender that shah be launched subsequent to this Request for Expression of Interest shah be financed by SOWEDA 2025 running budget.
Each Expression of Interest should consist of an Administrative File and a Technical Proposai sealed in separate envelopes, written in English or in French and submitted in five (05) copies each, of which one (01) original and four (04) copies.
AlI Expressions of Interest should be submitted at the Secretariat of the Director of Administration and Finance of SOWEDA, P.O. Box 336 Buea, South West Region on or before 19th May 2025 at 12:00 p.m. prompt.
The file shall be contained in a single and sealed envelope addressed to the Director General of SOWEDA, P.O. Box 336 Buea bearing the inscription:
"Request for Expression of Interest N° 001/REI/SOWEDA/25 of 02/05/2025 for the Recruitment of an Engineering Consultancy Firm to Carry Out Studies in View of the Design and Construction of Water Supply Schemes".

Brief presentation of the consultancy Firm
b) A statement of capability and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the services required. This should be supported by brochures, attestation/evidence and description of experience in similar assignments accomplished and duly received, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc. Signed CVs and copies of certificates of personnel must be included.
8. Essential Criteria:
- Proof of references in similar jobs
- Absence of any of the requirements or conditions stated about the personnel
9. Eliminatory Criteria
· Incomplete administrative documents
· False deciaration or falsified document
· Lack of appropriate personnel.
10. Indicative Selection Criteria
The consultants shall be pre-selected on the basis of:
- Qualification and experience of key personnel to carry out the assignment (45/100) - Experience, especially in similar assignments (45/100)
- General presentation of file (10/100).
