The State of Cameroon represented by the LORD MAYOR AKWAYA COUNCIL, the Contracting Authority, hereby launches a request for quotation FOR THE PURCHASE AND SUPPLY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE IHC BALLIN, AKWAYA SUB DIVISION
FOR THE PURCHASE AND SUPPLY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE IHC BALLIN, AKWAYA SUB DIVISION
· The Amount of the project after preliminary studies is fixed at FIFTEEN Million, Francs (15 000 000) FCFA.
Participation in this invitation is open to registered qualified contractors of the Republic of Cameroon with financial ability, technical and professional expertise in medical equipment Supplies.
The supplies, subject of the present Request for Quotation, shall be financed by the Public Investment Budget 2025.

The Quotation can be consulted and obtained as from the date of publication of this invitation to tender, at the Akwaya Council Contracts Office, Tel: 670 939 602/ 678 281 420.
The file may be consulted during working hours at the Akwaya Council Chambers as soon as this notice is published.
With effect from the date of signature of this quotation upon presentation of receipt attesting to the payment of a non-refundable fee of THIRTY Thousand (30,000) CFA francs, payable at the Municipal Treasury Akwaya A copy of the receipt showing payment of the fee shall be
attached to the Quotation.
The bidder shall submit 01 original (indicated as such) and 04 copies of the bid in English or French at the Secretariat of the contract unit of the Akwaya Council office against a receipt on or before 24/4/2025 at 9am. The outer envelope shall bear the inscription :

Delivery deadlineThe maximum deadline provided by the project owner for the deliveiy of the supplies is One (01) Month
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first-rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry in charge of finance and whose list is found in document No. 12 of the tender file and attach a reciept from CAISSE DE DÉPÔTS ET DE CONSIGNATIONS (CDEC) of an amount of Three Hundred Thousand (300,000) CFA francs a validity period for Thirty (30) days from the date they opened.
On pain of being rejected, only originals or true copies certified by the issuing service or administrative au thorities must imperatively be produced in accordance with the Special Regulations of the invitation to tender. They must obligatorily be not older than One (01) Month preceding the date of submission of offers or may be established after the signature of the tender notice. Any offer not in conformity with the prescriptions of this notice and tender file shall be declared inadmissible. Especially the absence of a bid bond issued by a first-rate bank approved by the
Minister in charge of Finance or the non-respect of the models of the tender file documents shall lead to a pure and simple rejection of the offer.

The offers shall be opened in single phase. The opening of Administrative Offers (Envelope A), the Technical Offers (Envelope B)/inancial Offers (Envelope B) on 24/4/2025 at 10 am local tirne by the Akwaya Council Tenders Board situated at the Akwaya Council Conference Hall.
