The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Urgent Open National Invitation to Tender No.003/ONIT/TB/UB/17 of 25/07/2017 for the Supply of Two vehicles to the TAKeOFF Research Project of the University of Buea, Lots 1 & 2
The services of this Jobbing Order comprise purchasing, transportation and reception of the vehicles at the University of Buea main campus.

The supply is in two Lots. A contractor can purchase one or both lots and can win one or both lots.
Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroon based qualified registered enterprises that must have proven expertise in the domain of supply of vehicles
Supplies which form the subject of this Invitation to Tender shall be financed by the budget of the TAKeOFF Research Project of the University of Buea, 350045, 2017 financial year.
Tender documents can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published.
The file may be obtained from the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published upon presentation of a receipt of payment of the sum of 75,000 (seventy-five thousand) CFA francs, payable at special ARMP account No.33598842001-44 at BICEC.
Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (7) copies including the original and six (6) copies marked as such, should reach the Development Office of the University of Buea, in Room 211 of the Central Administration Building not later than 10.00a.m. on 18/08/2017. The bids should be addressed to The Vice-Chancellor, University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea. The khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner,
The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner or Delegated Contracting Authority for the delivery of this supply is two (02) months.
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a firstrate banking establishment approved by the Ministry of Finance of an amount of 900,000 (vine hundred thousand) FCFA for Lot 1 and 920,000 (vine hundred and twenty thousand) FCFA for Lot 2 and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids. The bids shall be opened in a single phase. The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids will be on 18/08/2017 at 11:00 a.m local time by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building.
Only bidders may attend or be represented by a duly mandated person.

Absence of any administrative document
Absence of a bid bond and/or Attestation for Bidding Purposes False declaration or falsified documents;
Obtaining a technical score of less than 27 yeses out of 38;
Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer;
Average annual business turnover of less than 70,000,000 (seventy million) CFA francs for the past three years supported by business licences for 2015, 2016 and certificate of non-indebtedness for 2017;
Non conformity with technical specifications as a general remark.
14.2 Essentiel criteria
Technical bids shall be evaluated on the basis of essentiel criteria outlined below.

The jobbing order shall be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid fulfilling the technical and financial conditions.
Bidders will remain committed to their offers for 90 days from the deadline set for the submission of bids.
