The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Urgent Open National Invitation to Tender No.004/ONIT/TB/UB/17 of 25/07/17 for the Supply and Installation of Equipment to the Electrical Technology Outdoor Laboratory at the University of Buea, Phase II.
The services of this Jobbing Order comprise purchasing, transportation, installation and reception of equipment at the Technology Outdoor Laboratory at the University of Buea.
The estimated cost alter preliminary studies is 40,000,000 (forty million) FCFA including taxes.

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroon based qualified registered enterprises that must have proven expertise in the domain of supply of equipment.
Supplies which form the subject of this invitation to tender shall be financed by the Public lnvestment Budget of the University of Buea, 2017 financial year, Chapter 813, Article 391904, Paragraph 610321
Tender documents can be consulted during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building of the University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published.

Box 63, Buea, as soon as this notice is published upon presentation of a receipt of payment of the sum of 50,000 (fifty thousand) CFA francs, payable at special ARMP account No.33598842001-44 at BICEC.
Each bid drafted in English or French in seven (7) copies including the original and six (6) copies marked as such, should reach the Development Office Secretariat, of the University of Buea, in Room 211 of the Central Administration Building not later than 10.00a.m. on 18/08/2017. The bids should be addressed to The Vice-Chancellor, University of Buea, P.O. Box 63, Buea. The khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner:
The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner or Delegated Contracting Authority for the delivery of this supply is four (04) months.
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a first-rate banking establishment approved by the Ministry of Finance of an amount of 800,000 (eight hundred thousand) CFA francs and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids. See Document 12 of Tender file.

The bids shah be opened in a single phase. The opening of administrative, technical and financial bids will be on 18/08/2017 at 11:00 a.m local time by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building.

Absence of a bid bond and/or Attestation for Bidding Purposes
- False declaration or falsified documents;
- Obtaining a technical score of Iess than 21 yeses out of 30 possible yeses; Absence of prospectus accompanied by the technical sheets from the manufacturer;
- Nonconformity with technical specifications
Average annual business turnover of less than 40,000,000 (forty million) FCFA for the past three years
supported by business licenses for 2015, 2016 and certificate of non-indebtedness for 2017.

The contract shah be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid fulfilling the technical and financial conditions.
