Within the framework of developing infrastructures in the University of Bamenda, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bamenda hereby launches an Invitation to Tender for a quotation to construct and equip a poultry farm house for COLTECH of UBa..
The service to be provided by this quotation include: construction and equipping of a poultry farm house for COLTECH according to the plans provided in this file. The project shall be one lot defined as follows: Construction and equipping of a poultry farm house for COLTECH UBa.
The estimated cost for this project following prior studies stands at 14,000,000FCFA (Fourteen Million francs) tax inclusive.

Participation in this invitation to tender is open to all Cameroonian based companies with good experience in similar works of construction.
This Invitation to Tender shall be financed by the Investment Budget of UBa, 2017 Financial Year; Budget Head 22222-580049.

The maximum duration of work to be provided for by the Project Owner for completion of work is sixty (60) days
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond to the tune of 240,000CFAF (two hundred and forty thousand francs) issued by a first rate bank approved by the Minister of Finance, The bid bond should not be older than thirty (30) days preceding the original date of signature of the tender notice.
Under risk of being rejected, the other administrative documents required must be produced in originals or certified true copies by the competent administrative authority in accordance with the Special Conditions of the invitation to tender. They should not be older than three (3) months from the date of signature of the call to tender.
The absence or non-respect of the modalities for the submission of a bid bond issued by a first rate bank approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cameroon, the file shall be declared inadmissible.

• Technical mark less than 75% of the essential criteria;
• Absence of a quantified unit price in the financial document;
. Essential criteria
The essential criteria relating to the qualification of candidates are the following:
• Presentation of bid;
•Bidder's references in construction works.
• Key personnel and equipment available
•Planning and methodology;
•Technical presentation of work plan
• Financial capacity of at least 10 million.
N.B: In order to be eligible for financial evaluation, the bidder must attain all
eliminatory criteria and at least 75% of the essential criteria.
The contract will be awarded to the Bidder whose bid is deemed to be in compliance with the specifications of the Tender File and has the required technical and financial capacities to execute the contract satisfactorily, and whose bid will have been evaluated as the lowest.
It is specified that the tenderers will remain committed to their offers for three (3)
months from the deadline set for the submission of tenders. Bidders shall be bound by
their bids for a period of ninety (90) days with effect from the date of opening of bids.
