The Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda hereby launches a request for quotation in emergency procedure for the supply of complementary binding equipment at the Central Library of the University of Bamenda
The works include notably:
- The supply and installation of fully automated flex printing machine;
- Training of personnel on the use of the equipment to supply.

The estimated cost after preliminary studies is 10,000,000(ten million) CFA francs.

This Consultation is open to companies or groupings of companies installed in Cameroon and involved in the supply and installation of printing equipment
The works shall be financed by the 2022 autonomous budget of the University of Bamenda head 244-461-01-65-220040-222004.

Tender documents can be obtained during working hours at the office for Development, Physical Plant and Infrastructure, Bambili campus of The University of Bamenda. upon presentation of the original receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of 20,000(twenty
thousand) CFA francs in the ARMP Special Allocation Account (CAS) No. 10001 06860 33598860001 94, opened in the books of BICEC.
Contractors must submit their bids in seven copies (one original and six copies) to the office for Development, Physical Plant and Infrastructure, Bambili campus of the University of Bamenda, on or before the 22-0001 at 10:00 am prompt. The envelope containing
the bids should carry the inscription:
“REQUEST FOR QUOTATION IN EMERGENCY PROCEDURE

FOR THE SUPPLY OF COMPLEMENTARY BINDING EQUIPMENT FOR THE CENTRAL LIBRARY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BAMENDA
To he opened only during the bid-opening session”
The maximum deadline provided by the Project Owner for the execution of the works is Three(03) months
Each bidder must include in his administrative documents, a bid bond issued by a financial institution approved by the Ministry in charge of finance of an amount of 200,000 (two hundred thousand)CFA francs.
The bid bond should be valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids.
Administrative documents must be less than three months old and must not be signed after submission of the bids. Only originals of the required administrative documents or copies certified by the issuing service or administrative authorities (Senior Divisional Officers,
Divisional Officer, etc), including the bid bond, should be produced. Any bid which does not conform to the prescription of this invitation to tender shall be declared inadmissible, hence rejected.
All the bids will be opened in a single phase at the University of Bamenda by the InternalTenders Board on the 02/06/2022 at 11:00 am.Only bidders may attend the opening session or be represented by a person of their choice duly authorized.
Evaluation criteria
a. Eliminatory criteria
Incomplete or non-compliant administrative file at the end of the 48-hour period
granted by the Procurement Commission to comply.
Absence of the bid bond;
Non-compliance of the submission template;
False statements or falsified document(s);
Having abandoned the execution of a public contract during the last three years;
Non-compliance with at least 75% of the essential criteria,
b. Qualification criteria
The presentation of the offer
The references of the company for similar services;
The quality of after-sales service;
Experience of technical staff;
The prospectuses and technical characteristics of the equipment offered;
The performance schedule for the service, indicating the maximum delivery time.
The Contract shall be awarded to the bidder whose bid, meeting the technical and administrative requirements; has been evaluated as the lowest
Bidders will remain committed to their bids for 90 days from the deadline set for the submission of the bids.
