The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea hereby launches Open National Invitation to Tender N°. 003/ONIT/TB/UB/18 of 30/01/2018 for the Construction of a Drainage System at the University Corridor and the Construction of a Security Gate House and Metallic Barriers in some areas of the main Campus.

2.Consistance des prestations New(Additif)

The works comprise the construction of drainage gutters to evacuate standing water at the University Corridor, construction of footpaths with pavement bricks and construction of a security gate house and metallic barriers in some areas of the main campus.

3.Cout Prévisionnel New(Additif)

The estimated cost aftcr preliminary studies is 55,000,000 (fifty-Cive million) francs CFA including taxes

4.Allotissement New(Additif)

The work is not in lots.

5.Participation et origine New(Additif)

This call for tenders is open to all qualified national companies specialised in the domain of building construction.

6.Financement New(Additif)

This project is financed by the 2018 Investment Budget of the University of Buea, Programme 244 Article 244410

7.Consultation du Dossier New(Additif)

The tender file can be consuited during working hours at the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building at the University of Buea, as soon as the tender is published.

8.Acquisition du Dossier New(Additif)

Tender documents can be obtained during working hours at the Secretariat of the Development Office, Room 211, Central Administration Building, upon presentation of a receipt of a non-refundable fee of 50,000 (fifty thousand) francs CFA paid into the special ARMP account No.33598842001-44 at BICEC,

9.Remises des offres New(Additif)

Bids shall be submitted in seven (07) copies (one original and six copies) to the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building, University of Buea, latest 10:00 a.m. prompt on 06/03/2018. The Khaki brown envelope containing the bids should be marked on the top right hand corner:

10.Delai de Livraison New(Additif)

The maximum deadline provided for by the Contracting Authority for the execution of this project shah be five (5) months.

11.Cautionnement Provisoire New(Additif)

Each bidder must include in his Administrative Documents a bid bond of 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) CFA francs. This must be issued by a bank recognized by the Ministry of Finance, as specified on Document 12 of this tender file and valid for thirty (30) days beyond the date of validity of bids.

Bids shall be submitted in seven (07) copies (one original and six copies) to the Development Office, Room 211, of the Central Administration Building, University of Buea, latest 10:00 a.m. prompt on 06/03/2018. 13.Ouverture des Plis New(Additif)

Bids shall be opened in a single phase in the Conference Room of the Centra! Administration Building of the University of Buea, on 06/03/2018 at 11.00 am by the University of Buea Tenders Board in the presence of the bidders or their duly authorised representatives.

Technical bids shall be evaluated on the basis of essential criteria mentioned below using a binary (Yes/No) scale.

Only bids that obtain a technical score of 23 on 38 shall be submitted for financial analysis. NB: Each item may score more than one Yes/No (see Technical Evaluation of Bids).

15.Attribution New(Additif)

The contract shall be awarded on the basis of the lowest bid fulfilling the technical and financial conditions

16.Durée Validité des Offres New(Additif)

Bidders will remain committed to their offers for 90 days. from the deadline set for the suhrnission of bids.
