The Government of Cameroon has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Grassfield Support Project for Rural Infrastructures and Participatory Development (GRASSFIELD II), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of the counterpart funds for this loan/ grant to payments under the contract for the consultancy services to Carryout sensitization, training and organization of beneficiaries including support to the value addition & income generating activities in the selected production basin
FOR THE SENSITIZATION, TRAINING AND ORGANIZATION OF BENEFICIARIES INCLUDING SUPPORT TO THE VALUE ADDITION & INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES IN THE SELECTED PRODUCTION BASIN
The services included under this project are divided into five lots as follows:
Carryout sensitization, training and organization of beneficiaries including support to the value addition & income generating activities in the selected production basin
• training partners involved in the project/council in promotion of IGA/ transformation
and value addition on Agric produce.
• gender approach, youths/women's land right, IGA, nutrition, sanitation, trade
management, book keeping, & monitoring etc (1000 women) i.e training of
groups/associations (women, youths, etc)
• training of committees of traders and committees of persons involved in food
processing) focusing on groups/associations (women, youths, etc),
• creating and training of market management committees selected from the community infrastructure management committees,
• training in rural animation, gender and group/association management.
The Grassfield Support Project for Rural Infrastructures and Participatory Development (GRASSFIELD II) as Implementation Unit now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

The duration of the assignment shall be twelve (12) months.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank's **Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants" (May 2008 Edition, Revised July 2012), which is available on the Bank's website at http:/ / www.afdb.org.
